Our 1970s playlist is here for your review! The 70s was a time for peace, love, and disco!! Now, who doesn’t want to get on board with that? We do!
There are so many genres to choose songs from for this decade. It wasn’t all disco (although, that may be our favorite, lol).

Start off with this catchy song that everyone will be singing or at least humming along.
Heart of Glass by Blondie
This was a No. 1 hit in 1979. This is another good one to kind of mumble along with if you don’t know the words. A good one to get the group started.
Dancing Queen by Abba
Everyone wants this on their playlist no matter which decade is being referenced. It’s always in our Top 50 Songs.
YMCA by The Village People
Now, let’s get everybody dancing. You can’t help but get up and do these moves!
Stayin’ Alive by The Bee Gees
Keep those dance moves coming as you sing and dance you’re way through Saturday Night Fever!
You’re So Vain by Carly Simon
Time to bring it down a notch. This song is a little slower than the last but is guaranteed to have anyone singing who knows someone that is vain, and let’s be real, that is EVERYONE!
Best of My Love by The Emotions
This is just a fun song and it’s about that time we try hitting some of those high notes!
Tie a Yellow Ribbon by Tony Orlando and Dawn
Let’s throw in a fun one. This is the time to refill your drink or get a snack while you sing along.

Do You Think I’m Sexy by Rod Stewart
Oh, it is time, people. Time to get up there and dance these lyrics. We’re amping up the fun now!
Bennie and the Jets by Elton John
We’re going to keep it going because you can’t NOT sing this song. I defy you to not move your head within the first 10 notes!
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
What 70s playlist would be complete with out this favorite. Actually, no karaoke playlist would be complete without this one!
I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor
And now it’s time to kick it into the highest gear. This song is great cause it starts slow but let’s loose into a sure-to-be memorable event (as if it wasn’t already)!
